Red Dead Redemption has been out for almost two weeks now. Wonder what’s been going on post-release?
First, FOX TV will be airing a special 30 minute short film based entirely on Red Dead Redemption, using in-game assets. It will be directed by John Hillcoat (The Road). This will be happening later today, so for all the peeps in the United States, do check it out!
A trailer of the short film has been released, too.
Also, if you didn’t yet know, Rockstar has been organising daily online events for Red Dead Redemption over Xbox LIVE and PSN for the past two weeks, and it will continue into next week. In tandem with this is “The Red Dead Rockstar Challenge” contest, where a lucky winner will “be cast as a character for Red Dead Redemption” for future downloadable content. If you are chosen, your features will be used to create a unique game character. More details here.
